If you are ever filling out a survey, especially one that is long and being given to a large number of people and one you are being paid to fill out, please pay attention to the instructions.  Real people sometimes have to enter all of that data, and if you don’t follow the instructions correctly it is a pain in the ass to fix.  If it’s messed up enough, we can’t actually use the data (which is fucked up considering we paid you for the data).

Seriously.  It is entirely too often that I enter/check packets where the person was either blatantly negligent or apparently high while filling them out.  I understand that there are parts that are worded strangely, but there are other parts that are very straightforward.
